Woman's Health Diary

Author: Shelagh Wallac

Although most women would agree that taking care of her health is of paramount importance, too few of us actually pay attention to what is happening to our bodies as we grow older.

This health diary is designed to make it easy for women to keep a lifelong record of their health. It provides space to record visits to the doctor as well as yearly health summaries that include the results of annual physicals. In addition, there are pages devoted to major family illnesses that may be indicative of a predisposition to certain types of diseases. There is space for addresses and telephone numbers as well as a summary of prescribed medications and reactions. And there is a separate section for a woman to keep track of prenatal visits to her doctor.

If faithfully kept up, this little book will provide a complete health record that can prove to be invaluable in detecting early signs of serious illness and drug allergies as well as being a source of information about past problems and treatments.

The more we know about our health, the better equipped we are to prevent problems and to assist our doctors in making the correct diagnosis when problems do occur.

A Woman's Health Diary provides a private and inviting forum for recording the changes that happen to our bodies during our lives.
